The government members who sit on this committee more times than not agree on issues of human rights, so I'm looking forward to the conversation that we're going to have on this situation. We often talk about impunity in the various governments of the world that assault their own citizenry.
In Sri Lanka, it's clear that both sides were stained in this war. We can't solely look at the government side, but we have an opportunity via the United Nations to address impunity. Here's a government trying to hide or bury these stories and change the history.
