Quebec pork producers sent us a document recently which stresses the need to open up new markets, in particular since the Chinese market was closed. These are non-tariff barriers which can be interpreted as voluntary measures to counter free trade.
Did the government consult you to listen to your requests and to get further details about this? What action was taken in response to your requests?
