Welcome to the second meeting of the Liaison Committee.
My name is Ian McDonald. I am the new clerk of the Liaison Committee.
The first order of business is to elect a chair. I am now ready to receive motions for the position of chair.

Before inviting Mr. Allison to take the chair, if the committee wishes we will now proceed to the election of the vice-chair. I am now prepared to receive motions for the position of vice-chair.
