We had a visit there, and I know for a fact that the Minister of National Defence has been there. There are 74,000 to 80,000 troops deployed on the Afghan border. You realize that with the terrain it is virtually impossible to stop the infiltration. I met with the military attachés of the United States, and they were very impressed with the work Pakistan is doing. They said they could not succeed without the cooperation between the commanders on either side.
My question to you, sir, is, is there a will in the NATO nations and the national resources to continue with this mission rather than cut and run?
