Again, the Minister of Public Safety has led the development of Canada's cybersecurity strategy, as you know, in 2010, and coordinates the implementation, but the defence portfolio also plays a role in ensuring Canada's cybersecurity. This is done through the unique expertise of CSEC, which provides advice, guidance, and services to help protect electronic information and infrastructure. Yes, there are collective threats to our cybersecurity, as you are aware, but we remain committed to strengthening our cybersecurity while ensuring that Canadians' fundamental privacy rights are protected.
