Mr. Rebel, aren't there some perfectly legitimate reasons that appliances in the U.S. and appliances in Canada would have different expected energy usage? Our average room temperature in Canada is going to be different from the average room temperature in the U.S.
I was just looking at some of the online standards for how to test U.S. appliances, and they use 32.2°, plus or minus six degrees, as the testing platform. That doesn't sound like a reasonable average room temperature that Canadians use to test appliances.
