Are you familiar with the oil production technologies used in the Canadian west? They use on-site technologies that are able to capture CO₂ in the ground. Do you know that the western Canadian oil production technologies have one of the smallest carbon footprints in the world? Do you think that if these facts were known in Quebec, this would improve the social acceptability of projects such as the Energy East Pipeline?
