Good afternoon, everybody.
An unusual day, who knew governing involved so much walking back and forth? I didn't.
That being the case, first of all I would thank our two witnesses who took time out of their very busy schedules to be here today.
Second, I have to apologize to you for the inconvenience because we're not going to be able to proceed today. We have to return to the Hill momentarily for another vote, at least one, possibly two.
I understand, from speaking with the clerk, that you have some availability on dates that we're sitting in the not too distant future, and that you kindly agreed to return. Thank you very much for that. I appreciate it.
As far as formal business, I think all we need to do is vote to cancel or adjourn the meeting because of the circumstances of the day.
What I propose to do is suspend this meeting but we'll have a very quick subcommittee meeting in the time we have remaining before we have to go back up to the Hill. Is that okay with everybody?
