The only comment I would have, since the motion has been ruled admissible, is that it's entirely unreasonable to ask ministers to appear in front of committee with less than 48 hours' notice. I don't think it's a reasonable motion to put in front of the committee to ask members to consider supporting it. It's Tuesday just before 11 o'clock and we're asking a whole number of ministers to appear on Thursday at 9 a.m. That's not reasonable; they have schedules and agendas planned weeks in advance. I can tell you right now they're definitely occupied Thursday morning between 9 and 11. I don't think it's reasonable for the committee to call them on such short notice.
