Would you not say this is a major weakness? I really started wondering about this myself after that. I have the feeling it is quite common across the country. Unfortunately, Francophones give in and accept it, partly in order to receive the care they need. As far as I am concerned, access to health care and justice in one's own language is a fundamental right. We are talking about circumstances where individuals feel particularly vulnerable and nervous, and want to be able to communicate in their own language. There seems to be a serious problem in that regard right across the country.
