The purpose of the reports on plans and priorities is to describe the mandate, mission and strategic objectives of each department and to provide information the structure of their areas of activity, their expected results and their strategy regarding performance measurement. These reports include the coming fiscal year and two subsequent years. They are tabled in the House of Commons by the Treasury Board president after the main estimates.
