Good afternoon, everyone.

We have quorum, so I'm going to start despite the absence of one member.

I call this meeting to order.

Welcome to meeting number 9 of the Subcommittee on Private Members' Business of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs.

Pursuant to Standing Order 91.1(1), we are meeting to study items added to the order of precedence since the last meeting in order to determine if they should be designated non‑votable.

I wanted to let you know that this is my first meeting as chair of this subcommittee. If there are any little glitches, I'll appeal to your indulgence and we'll find a solution. I'm pleased to see the members here.

You've received the documentation. There are 15 items to deal with today.

If you have any questions or concerns about an item, now's the time to come forward and get my attention. Then I'll give you the floor.

Are there any hands? No.

If I understand correctly, there are three motions to adopt.

The first is to determine whether all items recently added to the order of precedence and being considered today are votable.

The third motion is as follows, “That the Chair report the subcommittee's findings to the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs as soon as possible.”

I think we're all in agreement on that as well.

Three out of three. It's like a hat trick. I think we've done a good job.

I think I can adjourn the meeting. Thank you very much.
