Mr. Chair, I would like to finish a discussion that we started last time about the way our committee operates. I would appreciate you announcing to the committee that, as a result of the discussions that took place at the last regular meeting of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs, it is your intention to follow the rules that are in effect. That is, you will not exercise your right to vote and that you will follow the rules. I would appreciate you telling us publicly that you have thought about the matter and, in the light of the discussions at the last committee meeting, it is your intention to abide by the rules.
