I'll remind members that the way any contempt of Parliament would work would not be this committee; actually, it would be the House. The committee could make a recommendation to the House to deal with it. That's all this committee could do.
I would ask all members to please be temperate in their remarks dealing with allegations such as these. This is a parliamentary committee. We follow the rules of fairness. I believe that we have to be a little more temperate in some of our remarks dealing with this type of language.
