This is meeting number 81 of the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security, Tuesday, April 23, 2013.

I'll remind our committee that towards the end of the close of the meeting today we will go in camera to consider some committee business. In the meantime, we're continuing our study of the economics of policing in Canada. On our first panel today we have with us Chief Rick Hanson of the Calgary Police Service.
