Thank you, Mr. Chair.

I'm inclined to agree with what Mr. Shipley just said. Mr. MacGregor's motion is good, and the words “as soon as possible” still allow us to be flexible and decide in subcommittee when this will happen. It could be after this study or a little sooner. We can decide on that later.

I will therefore support the motion in its current form, but I won't support the amendment, even though Ms. Damoff made some good arguments.
