I have made a point about the marketing of breast milk substitutes and its corollary to birth. What also worries me is what is going on with women's bodies. This attack on abortion is an attack on women's reproductive health; I get the impression that a woman's body is a territory occupied by pharmaceutical companies, corporations and economic interests. I am very concerned about the fact that abortion is being proposed as a topic for a great dialogue and a source of conflicts and obstacles, and I suspect that we are going to have to “slip one by” because there are other interests. I hope not.
I hope we are not trying to make money at the expense of women, as is the case in the south, in the US where 66% of hospital revenue comes from mothers and newborns. These questions must be asked.
