In this particular situation, the mother had breast cancer, and two of the three siblings had breast cancers. The doctors of the siblings have recommended that the female grandchildren—because it is a pattern because the great-grandmother also had breast cancer.... They were refused by their family physician to have the screening because they were under the age of 40.
However, because they have a history of multiple diagnoses going back, you know, 100 years, why would we not go ahead and do the mammograms?
