Very briefly, I know that we've beaten this horse to death, and I think it's already been dead about four times. But the committee sets its own agenda, and we are not bound by parliamentary traditions. This gives all Canadians the equal right to be heard at least once, in my mind.
With respect, the back-weight that Mr. Julian is talking about is because there was absolutely no democracy before. I'm surprised that the NDP would come forward to oppose something that gives fair treatment to every member of Parliament in this committee. I'm shocked at that.
