I strongly believe in the “polluter pays” principle. I don't think taxpayers should have to subsidize industry to clean up its act. I believe that the polluters, those people who are profiting from polluting our environment, should be accepting responsibility for their actions, and they, rather than middle class families, should have to pay to clean the air.
