I think it will help us. We all want to accomplish something positive for our veterans.This way we can check that we're doing our job and it's working. If we need to do something else with Bill C-55 to amend it at that time, we can do it.
We know how much work is put on our agenda, and this way we know for sure it will come back to the committee. A review would be done in an afternoon, and hopefully we would see that it's working very well and get on with it.

I have one question. Who's responsible for bringing this back in two years? Is it up to the department to let the committee know that two years are up, or is it up to the committee to let the department know?

Within a two-year period from the time of coming into force of this Act, the provisions of the Act are to be reviewed by the appropriate standing committee of the House of Commons.
