What polls allow us to do is to say yes to a number of different, often contradictory things. As parents, we all want to spend more time with our kids. For reasons such as economic, social and independence, we do not.
By far the most persuasive polling data we have is, after working through all the choices, that the great majority of parents with kids are both in the workplace.
