Mr. Speaker, housing affordability is a top concern throughout the country, but particularly in the Lower Mainland, and for this reason we have committed to increasing the first-time homebuyers incentive. This will make life more affordable for people buying their first homes.
Going forward, Liberals are also going to be looking at developing more affordable housing through the national housing strategy. It is a 10-year, $40-billion plan for real action in investments so everybody has a safe place to live and a roof over their head.
