Mr. Speaker, as someone who spent my career in the education system, I know first-hand what it is like to go back to school while juggling a family. I did that myself when I decided to go back to school a few years ago. It is really important. I want to salute my colleague across the way. She highlighted a really good point, that by working together we were able to come to the decision to increase the amount for students who had dependants.
It is important that we continue to have this dialogue and that is why we are having this conversation today. It is important that we identify gaps, that we adjust and that we make sure we are supporting all Canadians in this difficult time.
