Madam Speaker, I listened with interest to my colleague's speech. It was very thoughtful, and it touched on a number of really important points.
There seems to be a perception among some that a decision is rendered and that is the end of the discussion. However, my colleague mentioned a charter dialogue, the appropriateness of Parliament responding and our doing our job on something that I feel, and many feel, needs to be addressed, which is this issue of a self-induced intoxication defence.
