Madam Chair, every day is a great day to fight for Canadians, and that is exactly what everyone has seen this side of the House do over the past 120 votes. That is exactly what we will do every day of the year.
The form of this bill is the same as that passed in the previous supply period.

This being the first vote in a committee of the whole during a hybrid sitting, I would like to take a moment to explain the new voting procedure.
Pursuant to Standing Order 101.1, the process for votes in committee of the whole will take place in a manner similar to the process for votes during sittings of the House with the exception of the requirement to call in the members.
As usual, members experiencing technical difficulties should use the “raise hand” function and wait until the end of the voting period for the Chair to recognize them.
Finally, before we begin, I would like to remind members that the names of members who vote for or against a motion in committee of the whole will not be recorded in the Journals.
