Madam Speaker, on the same point of order, I would point out that in the House of Commons Procedure and Practice, it says that “The Speaker usually turns a blind eye to the many incidental interruptions, such as applause, shouts of approval or disapproval, or heckling that sometimes punctuates speeches”.
I would encourage all members to refer to the guide on procedures for the House of Commons before they get up and make comments about whether or not heckling is allowed.
