Mr. Speaker, I was really interested in the hon. member's speech. She referred to an article that was posted in The Globe and Mail by Andrew Coyne today. Some of the things that Andrew Coyne talked about were the supremacy of Parliament, the history of compelling documents to be produced and the supremacy of Parliament being paramount. He also talked about a decline in democracy, which is something we have been talking about over the last nine years, including a lack of respect for institutions, such as Parliament, the judiciary and other things.
I am wondering if the hon. colleague could cite some examples of the decline in democracy we have seen after nine years of the Liberal-NDP coalition.
