Mr. Speaker, I listened to the member's speech. He chose, in the debate, as an opposition member, or a purported opposition member, to spend virtually the entire speech criticizing a government in power from 2006 to 2015, and attacking the current Conservative leader and the current Conservative Party.
I remember, before the 2021 election, the member and I were the vice-chairs of the finance committee. We worked together, along with the Bloc vice-chair, and we held the government to account at that committee. We controlled the agenda, co-operated, aligned on some issues and found ways to hold the government to account, as a good opposition party should.
What happened to that guy?
