Mr. Speaker, the minister continues to insult Canadians with his non-answers.
The Liberal government demanded that Groupaction pay a $50,000 fake invoice to Groupe Everest. Groupe Everest then handed the $50,000 over to the Liberal Party. Groupaction was then again rewarded with more government contracts.
When will the Liberal Party return the dirty money to taxpayers?

Mr. Speaker, in 1998 Alain Renaud received over $65,000 for fake contracts: money for no work. He then turned around and made a $65,000 donation to the Liberal Party of Canada.
When asked about this money, Brault said, “I knew that the money was supposed to be funnelled to the Liberal Party”. Will the Liberals return this dirty money to the taxpayers?

Mr. Speaker, yesterday we had a disgraceful display of government members applauding reports that Canadian tax dollars went to separatists. It is like giving ammunition to the enemy. So is it not true that the biggest allies to Quebec separatists are the federal Liberals and their twisted sponsorship program?

Mr. Speaker, a Liberal supporter admitted publicly that his company, Groupaction, gave thousands of dollars of sponsorship money, tax dollars, to separatists in Quebec. The Prime Minister yesterday agreed that both the Liberals and the separatists received tax dollars.
Canadians want to know which party will this government proceed against first to recover the tax dollars, the Liberals or the separatists?
Volunteerism April 6th, 2005
Mr. Speaker, on March 9 a team of 11 people from the Collingwood Church of God went to a small village in Paraguay to put the finishing touches on an orphanage that they helped build over the past year.
The team leader, Dan Miller, has led a number of these trips to help those in need in very impoverished areas. The team of five adults and six teenage girls raised the funds for their trip and were very involved in all aspects of the construction.
In addition to helping to build the orphanage, the team helped replace the roof on a local church and ran a one day youth camp for the local children.
While their trip lasted 14 days, the efforts made in Paraguay will have a lasting impression on the orphans for the rest of their lives.
It is with great pride that I recognize Dan Miller, Jason and Sarah Burt, Nathan and Amanda Westendorp, Alexandra Foster, Erica Jones, Jillian Grant, Amanda Cramer, Erin Wiley and Laura McGill for making such a tremendous difference.
It is incredible to see our youth with such a healthy approach to serving the community both locally and globally.

Mr. Speaker, Groupe Everest received tens of thousands of sponsorship dollars. The company's president then donated thousands back to the Liberal Party of Canada.
My question is really very simple. Will the Prime Minister take immediate action to recover this dirty money from the Liberal Party of Canada and return it to taxpayers?

Mr. Speaker, I have the honour today to present two petitions, one with over 425 names on it from people in my riding of Simcoe—Grey. The petitioners call upon the government to maintain the definition of marriage as the union between one man and one woman to the exclusion of all others.

Mr. Speaker, this afternoon members of our caucus are meeting with 40 mayors and deputy mayors from around the province of Ontario.
They have come to share with our party horror stories about crumbling roads, sidewalks and sewers that are in such disrepair that lives and the economy are at risk. Their needs are urgent but the government has ignored them, like it has ignored the pleas of Canadians across the country.
For the past 12 years the government has overtaxed Canadians and then hoarded the surplus. I am sure these Johnny-come-latelies will apply a little touch up paint here and there but where is the plan? Where has the urgency been from the government for the past 12 years?
More mayors could have been here this week if the Liberal backroom boys had not applied the pressure. Their actions are disgraceful.
Having failed miserably the people they claim to represent, they now act to keep them under their boot. Why must our tax dollars be given to their friends and special interests first?
The government is starting to act like cornered rats. Its actions are disgraceful.

Mr. Speaker, Lapierre said they would not wait for Gomery. Canadians do not have to wait for an inquiry to know that they want their money back. They should not have to wait for a lawsuit. They want their money back. The Liberals know they want it back. Return the money now.
