Ethics  Liberal insiders are getting rich on taxpayer money. There is a carbon tax cover-up. The environment minister is profiting from the green slush fund sleaze. When will Liberal corruption end?

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, the $30 billion carbon tax cover-up has been exposed. The costly cover-up coalition hid a secret government report proving that the carbon tax scam commits $30 billion of economic vandalism. The culprit of this cover-up is the environment minister, who has a profound love of orange jumpsuits and handcuffs.

The Economy  Right now, 25% of Canadians are living in poverty, which is something the Prime Minister tried to cover up, just like he covered up his own data that showed 25 billion dollars' worth of extra costs with the carbon tax, which is nearly $2,000 in carbon tax cover-up for every single family. How can we trust anything he says about taxes, poverty or money?

Carbon Pricing  Speaker, only after relentless pressure from Conservatives did the Liberals finally end their carbon tax cover-up. The numbers show the NDP-Liberal carbon tax is going to blow a hole of $30 billion a year once they fully quadruple the carbon tax. That is nearly $2,000 per family per year.

Carbon Pricing  Speaker, we always knew the Prime Minister was not worth the cost after nine years, but now his carbon tax cover-up has been exposed. We forced him to release data showing that, in addition to the higher bills at the pumps and on home heating that Canadians pay directly in the tax, there is also going to be a $30-billion-a-year hit to our economy.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, before I get started, I would like to inform you that I will be splitting my time with the member for Haldimand—Norfolk. The carbon tax cover-up continues. Canadians already know that the carbon tax is driving up the cost of living. It is increasing the cost of gas. It is increasing the cost of groceries. It is increasing the cost of home heating.

Business of Supply  We are asking the Prime Minister to live up to his own words and to be open by default. It is time to end the carbon tax cover-up and let the people know the truth.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, I think the Liberals think they got ahead of this and cut us off at the pass. However, the fact is that nothing has really changed. The carbon tax cover-up continues, and I will tell everyone why. The Liberals across the aisle have big smiles on their faces, thinking they sure pulled one over on the Conservatives. I have in my hands the article from the CBC.

Carbon Pricing  That is $30 billion in economic vandalism per year. Now, Conservatives have forced the release of all the carbon tax cover-up documents. Will the radical environment minister finally climb down from his tower and resign?

Carbon Pricing  However, Canadians know because their pocketbooks tell them so. Conservatives have forced the end of the carbon tax cover-up, and now the public budget watchdog's report confirms that Canadian families pay nearly $2,000 more in carbon tax per year. They also know that it will cost our economy $30 billion per year in economic activity lost.

Business of Supply  The open-by-default promise the Prime Minister made is blown and completely decimated. Here we are again, with months and months of a continued, in this case, carbon tax, cover-up, where the independent Parliamentary Budget Officer has been gagged. He is not able to provide to the public, not only the House but all Canadians, the real numbers and the real facts on the impacts and the proof of the negative impacts of the carbon tax plan currently under way and set to expand significantly and make life even more unaffordable in the coming years.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, the economic vandalism and carbon tax cover-up of the government has now been exposed because of relentless Conservative pressure. The government finally leaked out, to the CBC, the economic hit Canada will take, originally reported at $20 billion.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, this Prime Minister's economic vandalism and carbon tax cover-up were exposed today. Following pressure from the common-sense Conservatives, the government has finally revealed the data showing the real cost of its carbon tax, in addition to the cost at the pump.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, today's motion is one for the production of documents, arising from the refusal of the government to allow the PBO to release information he had seen that supported the conclusions he had drawn, and that is that the overwhelming majority of Canadians are worse off under the carbon tax when the economic impacts of the carbon tax are taken into effect. This was the latest in the series over time of the carbon tax cover-up. I think the Liberal member for Whitby thought he had a gotcha moment at committee with the PBO, that he would get the PBO to admit that when we took into account the economic impacts, that somehow the carbon tax was not harmful to Canadians.

Business of Supply  The Liberal government released pieces of information that supports its narrative. It did not release all of the information. I maintain that the carbon tax cover-up continues. That report and that data, all of it needs to be tabled in this House now.
