June 22nd, 2021Committee meeting

The Clerk

Procedure and House Affairs committee  Yes, course, Madam Chair. To Ms. Vecchio's specific question about the number of reports, it does happen, and does happen frequently enough that a committee will provide more than one report on the same study. Sometimes that takes the form of an interim report followed by a final report, or sometimes it's a report part 1, and that same report part 2.

June 3rd, 2021Committee meeting

The Clerk

Procedure and House Affairs committee  Sure, Madam Chair. Ms. Vecchio's amendment is to add the words “members' offices” after the words “federal department”. That would end up reading as follows for the full motion: That all documents submitted for committee business that do not come from a federal department, offices of Members of Parliament, or that have not been translated by the Translation Bureau be sent for prior linguistic review by the Translation Bureau before being distributed to members.
