Canadians know that our leader and our caucus stand for the common sense of the common people, united for our common home, Canada.

Carbon Pricing  At the rate this government is increasing taxes, including a 41¢-per-litre hike on Canadians' heating, eating and meeting, we might need an even bigger axe to slay all of these back-breaking taxes. Will the Prime Minister, who is out of touch, take his boot off the backs of hard-working Canadians who are out of money and finally axe this failed, ineffective and punitive carbon tax?

Carbon Pricing  While Canadians struggle with affordability, the Liberal government continues to raise taxes, like the carbon tax, which costs Canadians more than they get back. As the PM jet sets across the globe, hard-working Canadians also deserve a chance to enjoy a vacation. Will the Prime Minister end his punishing carbon tax?

Carbon Pricing  Groceries are taxed, again. While well-connected, rich Liberals keep getting further ahead, hard-working Canadians are falling further behind. I have a simple question: When will the Prime Minister give Canadian families a break and axe his carbon tax plan?

The dream of home ownership, once considered a birthright for hard-working Canadians, is becoming for many a seemingly impossible dream. It is part of the larger issue of affordability in many aspects of everyday life. While the data shows that Canada has fared better than most other G7 countries when it comes to inflation, that is little comfort to my constituents, who go to the grocery store and find so much of their paycheque just going to put food on the table.

Telecommunications  Canadians did not know that he was just negotiating for a corner office at Rogers. Why are the Liberal insiders and friends always benefiting on the backs of hard-working Canadians?

Labour  Can the government or the Minister of National Revenue give us an intelligent answer and confirm that hard-working Canadians will not have to wait for their tax refunds?

The Economy  This is just another example of a prime minister who cannot or will not try to understand the realities of hard-working Canadians. When Canadians are choosing between heating and eating, the Prime Minister is choosing between Jamaica and the Bahamas. When will the out-of-touch Prime Minister realize that money does not grow on trees, not that his government is competent enough to plant any?

Carbon Pricing  It is not an environment plan; it is a tax plan. Enough is enough. When will the government stop punishing hard-working Canadians and axe its cruel carbon tax?
