Business of Supply  We do not simply allow the corporate lobbyists to do whatever the hell they want, such as bread price fixing like we saw under nearly a decade of the most dismal record in Canadian history with the most corrupt government in Canadian history, the Harper government, and the most financially incompetent government with ten years of deficits throughout that period. As I recall, it was a government that was willing to give anything to banks and corporate CEOs, $116 billion in liquidity supports to Canada's big banks so they could pay bigger dividends and bigger executive bonuses.

Public Safety committee  I've been in the game for over 40 years, and I've witnessed—from Mr. Mulroney to Mr. Trudeau—everybody being corrupted, everybody being sort of influenced by agents of influence within their inner circle, so it's more than late. Unfortunately, we're paying a dear price, as well, because now our foreign allies are looking at us as a bunch of Mickey Mouse leaders because we're not taking the right steps.

Foreign Affairs committee  I think the majority of this money goes to real estate in Canada, especially in big cities like Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Among Iranians, when there's somebody involved in corruption, usually they say, “Okay, we will find him in Vancouver next month.” This is a saying among Iranians inside the country. Let me give you an example. A friend of mine, about two or three years ago, decided to bring all his savings from Iran.

Pharmacare Act  We all know this was signed off on, on the back of a napkin, to placate the junior NDP partners, so they would prop up the corrupt government for years, or at least until the member for Burnaby South gets his pension. We know what this is about, and it is to ensure that the NDP-Liberal costly coalition stays in power.

Foreign Affairs committee  Again, it took place behind court doors and without a jury. This shows that because of the corruption of the judicial system, this security work, there is absolutely no relation to the Islamic Republic.

Foreign Affairs committee  For those of you who don't know, Toomaj is a prominent rap artist inside Iran who is loved by most Iranians not only because of his art and songs but more so because of his bravery and the courage in his lyrics, which touch the population's hearts and minds and address all the social ills committed by this regime, such as corruption and the oppression of all the citizenry. He has become a hero, really—a larger-than-life figure—inside Iran. The regime has imprisoned him, tortured him and injected him with unknown substances, and he now has a death sentence against him.

Foreign Affairs committee  [Witness spoke in Persian, interpreted as follows:] I have to insist that civil courts are different from revolutionary courts. Civil courts are independent. They are specialized. Perhaps there is some sort of corruption in there, but we are not talking about those courts. We are talking about the revolutionary court and sometimes the criminal court. The civil courts are totally different. Because of the religious rules, they come into play, but I have to insist that civil courts are totally different.

Foreign Affairs committee  The IRGC's role increasingly became more powerful in foreign policy, and it now controls over 30% of the economy. One can equate it to a large, corrupt mafia group comprising 150,000 members involved in money laundering, transnational terror, selling drugs on the black market, expropriation of property, extrajudicial killings, targeted assassinations, cyberwarfare and the spread of Islamist propaganda.

Pharmacare Act  It truly is telling of the level of absurdity that this place has descended into, when simply calling out the failures of this so-called confidence and supply agreement, this coalition, this poorly negotiated agreement that has propped up one of the most corrupt governments in Canadian history, that NDP and Liberal members would become so offended when we bring forward some things, including talking about the history of those parties. I will be happy to address some of the failures specific to the Liberal Party here in short order, for that member specifically, but it seems like that they do not want to hear those things because they are simply offended that somebody would dare question their pre-eminence.

Electoral Participation Act  Madam Speaker, after nine years of the Liberal-NDP Prime Minister and the government's woke, wacko, extremist policies, Canadians are poorer than they have ever been before. It is because the New Democrats have helped prop up the most corrupt Prime Minister in Canadian history. He doubled rents and mortgages and made food unaffordable, all on a pathway to quadrupling the carbon tax scam. Does the member agree that it is time for her party to stop protecting its leader's pension, stop propping up the corrupt Liberal-NDP government, help put an end to Canadians' misery and call a carbon tax election now so that common-sense Conservatives can axe the tax and Canadians can kick this costly coalition to the curb?

Information & Ethics committee  I would encourage him to hold up a mirror when he talks about tactics that are attempting to silence people because it looks to me that in fact what he is doing is exactly what he is alleging Mr. Brock has done. It's a vexatious attempt to silence critics of a corrupt government, and Conservatives will not abide it. Thank you, Chair.

Electoral Participation Act  Speaker, as I said, the bill ought to be called the “loser Liberal pension protection act”, and if it has nothing to do with pensions, then frankly, the government members should get on with what Canadians want so badly, which is for them to call a carbon tax election so that Canadians can once and for all rid themselves of arguably the most rotten and corrupt government in Canadian history.

Ethics  After nine years of the NDP-Liberal government, Canadians can see that it is clearly not worth the cost or this kind of corruption.
