Gender Equality  Madam Speaker, on International Transgender Day of Visibility, let us stand up for the protection and promotion of the human rights of people in Canada who are transgender, queer, non-binary and two-spirit. Can the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth share what our government is doing to lift up transgender voices and be allies to the transgender community?

Online Streaming Act  Mr. Speaker, I want to reassure my colleague that I listened to his speech. Frankly, I did not hear anything different from what I heard the other night when we sat here in the House until midnight. However, that is what freedom of speech looks like. I am a member of Parliament for a riding in Quebec that is home to creators, artists, people who work in the film industry.

Since we come from the same neck of the woods in Quebec, I would like to hear my friend and colleague speak about the importance of creating that space for Quebec content via Bill C-11.

Taxation  Mr. Speaker, we are almost halfway through tax season. As MPs, it is our responsibility to help our constituents, especially members of vulnerable populations, file their income tax returns so they can receive the benefits and credits they need. Could the Minister of Revenue inform the House of what we can do to help them?

Innovative Agri-Food Businesses  Mr. Speaker, things are happening in the agri-food industry in Châteauguay—Lacolle, which will soon be called Châteauguay—Les Jardins‑de‑Napierville. Today, I want to talk about the success of two dynamic and innovative businesses. First, I want to talk about the Coallier family, who owns G.S.P.M Distribution in Napierville.

I would like to know what the reaction is from local stakeholders and stakeholders from across the country. Is Bill C-11 something that they are looking forward to seeing?

Has there been any reaction from stakeholders in the creative industries on how Bill C‑11 will help them?

National Security Review of Investments Modernization Act  Mr. Speaker, I am very pleased to hear that the Conservative Party will be voting in favour of this bill. It is important to make investments before things get difficult. Can he comment on the fact that it really is important to modernize the international trade regulations?

Black History Month  Mr. Speaker, I am pleased to take this opportunity today, in honour of Black History Month, to highlight the important integration and inclusion work that is happening in my riding. A little-known fact is that Châteauguay—Lacolle is home to the second largest Caribbean community in Quebec.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, I thank my colleague for her speech. It is quite refreshing to listen to someone who really knows what she is talking about. As an economist, she spoke in depth about a number of subjects today. She indicated that there were costs, not just because of climate change but also because of the lack of support for the most vulnerable people and populations.

Sports  Madam Speaker, for months now, we have been hearing horror stories involving various sports in Canada. Several years ago, our government implemented new measures to put an end to this scourge, which is undermining some amazing talent and, worse still, destroying lives. Would the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and to the Minister of Sport please explain how our government's many decisions are now bringing about change?

Holiday Wishes  Mr. Speaker, I am very pleased to rise today to mark the return of the holiday season. The first snowflakes have already fallen, our homes are decorated, and our communities are all lit up with festive lights. For the first time in far too long, we can say that nothing is more enjoyable than celebrating with those we love.

Foreign Affairs  Madam Speaker, tomorrow is Human Rights Day. This day commemorates the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. When human rights are being trampled in places like Russia, Iran and Myanmar, Canada must stand up for the values we hold dear. Can the Minister of Foreign Affairs inform the House of the steps we are taking to protect human rights and hold human rights abusers accountable?

Interparliamentary Delegations  Mr. Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order 34(1), I have the honour to present to the House, in both official languages, the report of the Canada-Africa Parliamentary Association respecting its participation in the bilateral mission to Accra, Ghana, from May 21 to 27, 2022.

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls  Mr. Speaker, I have been very moved by what I have heard from colleagues on both sides of the House, and particularly my colleague just now. What I am interested in hearing about is her work as an educator. She talked about the human rights based approach and pathways to reconciliation.
