Ethics  Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister wants Canadians to believe that the Trudeau Foundation's donors paid for his vacation, but that he did not know about it. He would have us believe that the Trudeau Foundation received donations from Beijing, organized by his brother, but that he did not know about it.

Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada  It is clear that when the Prime Minister was talking about sunny ways back in 2015, he was actually talking about his Trudeau Foundation funded trips to Jamaica. We already know the Communist regime in Beijing donated over $200,000 to the Trudeau Foundation. We also know the special rapporteur, who will be investigating foreign interference in the 2021 election, was a member of the Trudeau Foundation until just weeks ago.

Public Accounts committee  The ethics committee is not undertaking anything like a stand-alone study on what happened to the Trudeau Foundation. They are merely including—from what I understand—two witnesses from the Trudeau Foundation to comment on their broader look at election interference. That is very different from what I think is required here, which is an investigation of what happened to the Trudeau Foundation.

Democratic Institutions  The PM, unbelievably, claims he has no ties to the Trudeau Foundation, yet his office hosted a meeting between foundation leadership and top government bureaucrats. When will the Liberal-NDP alliance end the cover-up and call for an independent investigation into foreign influence that is without the taint of the Trudeau Foundation?

Democratic Institutions  Speaker, no one believes the Prime Minister's claims that he built a wall between himself and the Trudeau Foundation. He is the only one who can see that wall, and the Beijing regime sees a wide open window. Canada's spy agency has made it clear that the Communist regime sees the Trudeau Foundation as a gateway to influencing the Prime Minister.

Democratic Institutions  The Trudeau Foundation is a nest of Liberals, and that is exactly why China has been trying to get closer to them since the election of this Liberal government. It is clear, then, that anyone from the Trudeau Foundation is disqualified from investigating Chinese interference.

He has had no engagement except for intelligence reports showing that Beijing gave $140,000 to the Trudeau Foundation to influence him, and this donation was facilitated and signed off on by his own brother.

He asked Canadians to believe that he did not know that Beijing had given $140,000 to the Trudeau Foundation to influence him, even though the donation was processed and signed off on by his own brother.

Information & Ethics committee  I couldn't agree with you more on that. I think it is a gross injustice that we're dragging the Trudeau foundation through the mud for partisan gain. That's a shame. Thank you for being here today. I hope that the foundation continues its work.

You don't get a Trudeau foundation scholarship if you don't have terrific dedication and discipline. Nonetheless, the very notion that the scholarship they're so proud to receive has been impugned unfairly is why I'm here today.

During the Conservative government's time, no one thought to brief you or to say, “Hey”.
