Agriculture and Agri-Food  Mr. Speaker, today is World Milk Day and I would like to thank all our farmers. In Quebec, 11,000 producers on 5,000 farms produce the milk, butter, cream, yogourt, and cheese that we are proud of and even the ice cream that I love. In 1972, the Trudeau Liberal government put in place the supply management system that protects our Canadian producers.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague opposite for his question. Things that are very difficult to do cannot be done all at once. Madame Deschamps identified the problem. That is what we want Madame Arbour to investigate, to see what was done within the military chain of command. Recent events have shown that there needs to be a process and that we need to determine how to make this process external.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, what is important is that there is an independent, external, safe process for any person who has been subjected to sexual misconduct, so the person is able to make a report in an independent and safe process outside of the political process. That is what is important here.

Business of Supply  Mr. Speaker, I thank my hon. colleague. We have had a number of conversations on topics that touch on the very subject we are discussing today. What matters is acting on the problem before us. It is not about pointing fingers and blaming anyone. It is about the urgency of the matter before us.

Could the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Women and Gender Equality tell us what our government has done to support victims and survivors of gender-based violence during COVID-19, particularly in Quebec?

Economic Development  Mr. Speaker, Parc Safari is one of the main tourist attractions in the Montérégie region, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Like many tourism operators, Parc Safari has been hit hard by COVID-19, and has had to adapt to survive. A few weeks ago, I was pleased to announce that we are allocating close to $1 million to Parc Safari to help it cover its new costs, continue to welcome families and protect the jobs of the many people who work there.

Black History Month  Mr. Speaker, Black History Month is commemorated in many ways across Canada. This year, in light of the Black Lives Matter movement and the fight against systemic racism, we are seeing a call to action as well.
