Automotive Industry  Mr. Speaker, there are 2,500 jobs at stake in the Windsor region because the Liberal government has not followed through on commitments it made to ensure that the plant being built by Stellantis for the NextStar batteries goes to completion. We have already heard from the mayor of Windsor, who has raised alarm bells and written directly to the government.

Housing  Mr. Speaker, that answer was little comfort to the workers in Windsor. We need a deal that actually goes through and builds that plant. The cost of rent has skyrocketed across the country. For example, in Laval, it now costs $2,000 to rent a two-bedroom apartment. That is a massive increase of 26% in one year.

Women and Gender Equality  Mr. Speaker, once again, the Conservatives will try to reopen the debate on the right to abortion. Once again, the Liberals will place their hands on their hearts and declare their outrage, without doing anything to guarantee the right to abortion. When will the government stop with the empty words?

Women and Gender Equality  Mr. Speaker, the reality is, with the Liberal government, it is often all talk and no action, particularly when it comes to something as important as reproductive rights. The Liberals promised to ensure that all regions of this country would have access to abortion services. Did they deliver?

Indigenous Affairs  Mr. Speaker, in Saskatchewan, first nations are left out of major decisions regarding natural resources because their right to the land is not recognized. The government has obligations to consult with the provinces, territories, and first nations and indigenous peoples. Will the Prime Minister commit today to respect free, prior and informed consent in Saskatchewan specifically, and across Canada, and ensure that the economic benefits flow to the indigenous peoples when the resources are on their land?

Pharmacare  Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister made a promise in 2017, and six years later has not done it, because he in the pocket of the pharmaceutical industry. Canada is the third most expensive country for medication in the world. That is really something, if medication is more expensive here than in Germany, France or Australia.

Pharmacare  Mr. Speaker, the Liberal government has a very cozy friendship with the pharmaceutical industry. In fact, in less than a year, it met with the pharmaceutical lobbyists more than 126 times. It is no wonder we are the third most expensive place for medication in the world. In 2017, the Prime Minister promised to make a small change that would have significantly reduced the cost of medication but has yet to do it six years later, so when will the Prime Minister stop protecting billionaires and start protecting Canadians?

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, foreign interference is a serious threat to our democracy. A member of Parliament and his family were targeted by a foreign government for his vote in the House. Imagine what it is like for thousands of families across our country that fled governments that were oppressive only to come to Canada and have those threats follow them.

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, let me help the Prime Minister. It is necessary. We need it. Foreign interference has a real impact on people's lives. It has a real impact on the Chinese community and on several communities in Canada. Imagine what it must be like for families fleeing repressive governments.

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, we need a public inquiry. It is necessary. Foreign interference has a real impact on communities across the country. We saw the impact on the Chinese community, but there are several other communities that are also suffering the consequences. Imagine what it must be like for families fleeing repressive governments.

Housing  Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister has been the leader of the Liberal Party for 10 years. In those 10 years, there has been a lot of broken promises and empty words, particularly when it comes to housing. The Prime Minister promised to make housing more affordable, and it has been the opposite.

Housing  Mr. Speaker, despite all that, housing is more expensive than ever. The Prime Minister has been the leader of the Liberal Party for 10 years. In those 10 years, his record when it comes to solving the housing crisis adds up to a whole lot of nothing. He is all talk, no action.

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, I do not think the government understands how serious this is. We have a member of Parliament, and his family, being threatened by a foreign government for the work he does in Parliament. That is a problem. That is something serious. The government is not taking it seriously.

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, the revelations about threats made against a member of Parliament and his family are disturbing. It is also disturbing that the Minister of Public Safety cannot say when he was informed of these threats. The minister has had 24 hours for someone to jog his memory, so now can he tell us when he was informed of these threats?

Democratic Institutions  Mr. Speaker, the Beijing government targeted a member of this House and targeted not only the member but the member's family. The Prime Minister knew about this and did nothing. Frankly, I am disappointed. This goes beyond partisan politics. This is about the ability for people in this House to be able to vote their conscience.
