Fisheries and Oceans  Mr. Speaker, I rise to recognize the excellent work of the relatively new director general for the DFO for the Central and Arctic Region, Dr. David Nanang, and his team. Canada—United Kingdom Trade Continuity Agreement Implementation Act  Mr. Speaker, I would be remiss if I did not echo my colleague's invitation to the member for Scarborough—Guildwood to cross over and come to the bright side. I do appreciate his welcoming comments to me when I joined the House just over a year ago. My hon. colleague mentioned trade with Africa.

Jagan Nath Dhawan  Madam Speaker, the Supreme Court of Canada has declined to hear an appeal by the big telecom companies of a CRTC order that could significantly lower wholesale Internet rates. This means that the Supreme Court now joins the federal court in rejecting these appeals. All eyes are now on the last remaining appeal, which is in front of the CRTC.

Economic Statement Implementation Act, 2020  Madam Speaker, I heard my hon. colleague mention Canada's present unemployment rate and I have heard the Minister of Finance claim that our jobs are returning at a faster percentage rate than in our neighbour to the south. I wonder if my hon. colleague could comment, given that we still have such relatively high unemployment.

Health  Mr. Speaker, a critical part of our economy involves businesses that make the machinery of business. We are world-class players in this field in southwestern Ontario. Face-to-face meetings are critical for Uni-Fab, a Leamington employer that's owner wants to double its size and add 150 well-paying jobs, but they need access to Michigan.

Criminal Code  Madam Speaker, my hon. colleague's background is not a lie. He is a lawyer. There were concerns expressed in 2016 with the legislation then, about the potential for judicial creep and now we are experiencing some of that.
