Official Languages  Mr. Speaker, I will point out that what these federal MPs are superstars at is defending both official languages. We do not make a distinction, as the Bloc Québécois does. We are all proud to be Liberal MPs. The 35 MPs from Quebec are not less Québécois than the members of the Bloc Québécois just because they do not want Quebec to separate.

Canadian Heritage  Mr. Speaker, I thank my colleague for her remarkable work. I want to tell her that our culture needs a level playing field for web giants, and that is exactly what Bill C-11, the online streaming act, does. This is essential for all of our artists, creators and cultural workers, but the Conservatives keep abandoning them again and again.

Canadian Heritage  Mr. Speaker, I do not have to tell my colleague that she is wrong. Everybody knows that she is wrong. They keep inventing facts all the time, but there is one thing that remains: They do not care about our culture. They do not care about our films, our movies and everything that is produced in Canada.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship  Mr. Speaker, Quebec reaps significant benefits from the Canada—Quebec accord on immigration. In fact, Quebec selects 74% of permanent immigrants. It sets the criteria, including knowledge of French. Quebec also determines the profiles for temporary foreign workers and foreign students, including their knowledge of the French language.

Official Languages  Mr. Speaker, the Bloc Québécois is trying to make this a partisan issue. I will use a word that I do not like to use: “troublemaking”. What CN has done is completely unacceptable. No one in the House thinks that what CN has done is a good thing. The Bloc Québécois knows it, we are saying it publicly, and the Prime Minister has said it: CN must address this issue.

The Economy  Mr. Speaker, all this time, the Government of Canada has been there for Canadians with respect to the environment, families, seniors and the regions. These are issues that many former Liberal prime ministers supported, including Jean Chrétien, Paul Martin and Jean Charest. Meanwhile, the Conservatives have been sliding further and further to the right.

Health  Mr. Speaker, my suggestion is that, after question period, we go invest in shirt manufacturers. At the rate the Bloc Québécois members are tearing their shirts in outrage every day, there is money to be made. The Bloc Québécois should recognize that it is perfectly possible for Ottawa and Quebec to work together, that it is possible to work together for all Quebeckers.

Intergovernmental Relations  Mr. Speaker, the Bloc is referring to an agreement that focuses on, for example, fighting climate change, which is good for Quebeckers. Help for workers is good for Quebeckers. More social housing is good for Quebeckers. Working together on health is good for Quebeckers. When all of that is good for Quebeckers, it is not good for the Bloc Québécois, and they do not like that.

Health  Mr. Speaker, the Prime Minister has already said that health transfers would be increased. The Bloc Québécois has known that for a long time, but that does not allow for any bickering, which is what the Bloc needs. However, the kind of constitutional bickering that the Bloc is looking for does not create jobs for anyone.

Electoral Representation  Mr. Speaker, this morning, we introduced a realistic and practical bill that will protect Quebec's seats. Quebec would retain 78 seats instead of dropping to 77. The Bloc Québécois wants to reopen the Constitution, because their bill will require support from seven provinces representing 50% of the population.

Electoral Representation  Mr. Speaker, we have 35 Liberal members for Quebec who are proud to be Quebeckers and who are here to stand up for Quebec. Today we introduced a bill that guarantees Quebec's 78 seats, but all the Bloc Québécois wants is to open up the Constitution and start a fight. The only people that is good for are those who hope to win points by raising a hue and cry, but we, on the other hand, are here for all Quebeckers.

Intergovernmental Relations  Mr. Speaker, when it comes to bickering, they are the world champions. They are the champions. How can we ask those who come to the House looking to bicker to understand that people might want to work together? They will never understand. When we decide to sit down together and work on social housing, it is good for Quebec.
