Automotive Industry  Mr. Speaker, I thank the member for Lac-Saint-Louis for his hard work, for his leadership in the caucus and for his question. If we want Canada to be a world leader in the new economy, we must support Canadian workers. We announced a $40-million investment to help BlackBerry QNX design and build a new platform for the cars of today and tomorrow.

National Defence  Mr. Speaker, I thank the member for Saint-Jean for his question and the work he does. After a decade of Conservative cuts, we are re-engaging in UN peacekeeping operations. In August, we reached full operational capacity in Mali.

The Economy  Speaker, the Liberals have met with thousands of Canadians all across the country in the past few months. I have personally had people from Lévis—Bellechasse and Roberval—Lac-Saint-Jean, for example, tell me how frustrated they are when they compare the government's rhetoric on the economy with the realities facing the middle class. What is more, their Conservative representatives have essentially become mouthpieces for the Prime Minister.

Bill C-311--Climate Change Accountability Act  Madam Speaker, I will be sharing my time today with the member for Lac-Saint-Louis. For the past four years, the Conservative government has been saying all kinds of nice things and making all kinds of promises about the environment, and for the past four years, the Liberal Party and the other opposition parties have been wondering what the Conservatives' plan is.
