Finance committee  Thank you, Mr. Chair. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to appear before you this morning. I suspect most of you probably had an opportunity to read The Globe and Mail this morning, especially when I look at the headlines that are here. When you do have a chance later on today, I'd ask you to go a little further, into the “Report on Business”, where you'll see a six-page spread the Globe has done on the role of community colleges and institutes as a response to the economic and social needs of the community.
