There are any number of elements in the Toyota production system of making vehicles that strive to do that, first by pulling vehicles only as they are needed by customers so we don't have excess inventory or waste that impacts cost.

Subcommittee on the Automotive Industry in Canada committee  Under the CAPC, presentations were definitely made to the government, but not really under the auspices of the current crisis. We were talking at that time about the Canadian dollar changes, and we were talking about hours of productive work available per person in Canada versus in the United States.
