Citizenship and Immigration committee  Our systems have been designed to try to deal with that as well in terms of aliases and making sure there are data fields for aliases, as well as the capacity to invert names. So whether the first and last names are inverted, it is still caught by the system or by the researcher.

As part of our mandate, CSIS assists the government in preventing individuals who pose a threat to the security of Canada and Canadians from entering or obtaining status in this country.
