Citizenship and Immigration committee  There still is a ministerial ability to be able to address, in certain circumstances, those cases that should be reviewed. There are limits as a result of section 42.1 as proposed right now, but there are still opportunities for the minister, or those designated by the minister, to ensure that in instances where it would be a grave injury to send someone out of the country, they could do that.
