Canadian Heritage committee  Good morning. I would like to welcome everyone. Thank you for this opportunity to speak with you today. First, I want to thank all of you for engaging in this significant process. Having spent over 35 years in the high performance sports system as either a national team athlete or a head coach, or now an administrator, I have witnessed first-hand how absolutely critical it is to have a strong partnership with the federal government.
