At the same time, we're doing groundbreaking work in mental wellness, in that we have to develop what we understand mental wellness is in line with our cultural teachings. The entire protocol for crisis intervention is based on culture and working with hereditary leadership in communities.

Indigenous and Northern Affairs committee  In Indian residential schools, we have Virginia Toulouse, who is the head of that, and Yvonne Rigsby-Jones, who is the addictions specialist and works with the treatment centres in the province. We have Pamela Watson, who's working with youth suicide and also addictions, and right now Meghan Kingwell is on contract working with us on crisis response.
