Fisheries committee  Good evening. On behalf of Marineland I will focus on three issues of concern, for the committee's consideration. In its present form, this bill violates the Charter of Rights and is unconstitutional. First, Bill S-203 does not provide for a proclamation date. It becomes law immediately after royal assent, and many otherwise lawful activities will immediately become criminal offences.
