Procedure and House Affairs committee  Thank you, Chair. It's a pleasure to be here today. Thank you to all of our witnesses today. Before we go ahead, I should let you know that as the lead for the Ontario redistribution on the part of the Conservatives, I attended nearly all the public hearings. There were more than 40 of them, and there were 20 or 30 witnesses at each one, so it was quite a long undertaking.

Procedure and House Affairs committee  Thank you, Chair. Thank you to our witnesses for appearing. My first question has to do with one of the parts of the estimate. We've heard that, with the NDP committing to support the Liberals through to 2025, we don't expect to have an election before then. When we look at the professional and special services of $203,652 in every year that there's not an election, what is that money being spent to do?
