Citizenship and Immigration committee  Thank you, Madam Chair. First of all, I would like to thank the members of the committee for inviting me to appear today. I am here on behalf of the 48 CEGEPs in Quebec. These are public institutions of higher learning that are attended by 195,000 students. Of these, more than 7,000 are international students and 30% of them come from French-speaking African countries.
